May 17 & 18 - Lily Chin - Laugh and learn with Lily! Lily demonstrates an elevated level of expertise that rates her a first class instructor for creative design, and is considered one of the most fun teachers in the knitting and crocheting industry.
Saturday, May 17th - 9am-12pm Tips, Tricks, and Hints: 2-tail cast on, how to professionally join new color yarns, attach buttons as you work, create invisible circular bind offs, improve "fix-its", and more. $55 ~ 1:30-4:30pm Pinstriped Knitting: Quick and easy way of creating complicated looking fabric with slimming optical effects. Infuse other colors for different "rythms". Make increases, decreases, and counting stitches sampler. Throw in some textures for added seeming-complexity! Learn more than a few new hints and tricks. Know what to avoid and what to look out for. Advanced beginner. $55 ~ 1:30-4:30pm What To Look For In Yarn: Do you have scraps and leftover partial skeins and hanks that you don't know what to do with? Bring them to this workshop and let Lily show you how to create. She is a master at turning unwanted strands into a masterpiece! $55

October 6th at The Lyceum Loft- Kaffe Fassett, It's an honor for us to host world renowned knitwear artist and handcraft guru, Kaffe Fassett The inspiration for the resurgence of Knitting, Needlepoint, and Quilting solely come from the creative spirit of this amazing designer. He has a magical gift of bringing color and textures together that bring life to any handcraft project. You won't want to miss this engaging and intriguing lecture. Lecture, $25, begins at 7pm, followed by book signing.
October 7 & 8-Brandon Mably- Brandon Mably could possible be one of the luckiest designers in the world. At a London bus stop he met Kaffe Fassett. From that day forward his life has been dedicated to fashion and color. Brandon gives seminars for the Kaffee Fassett Studio and his designs have been featured in Vogue Knitting, Knitting (UK), and Rowan Magazine. We are honored to host him here at Seed Stitch Fine Yarn. This is a two part workshop, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, 7-9:30 pm at Seed Stitch Fine Yarn/Limit 25 persons. $55

Kristin has successfully authored Colorful Stitchery and most recently, Kristin Knits, a book filled with whimsical and color filled garments made with her very own Julia yarns. Being named one of Vogue Knitting'sMaster Knitters of the 1990's has given her top recognition as a knitwear designer.

November 22 & 23 - Louisa Harding - Louisa Harding is an expression of grace and poise, and those qualities emerge in all of her designs. Louisa has been a global inspiration amongst the knitwear circle for over 10 years and she leaves a touch of "embellishment" where ever she goes. Her original patterns have been featured in Vogue Knitting, Knitters, and Rowan Magazine. She is also an accomplished author of numerous knitting books. It is a true pleasure to be in Louisa's Presence. She will be Hosting 2 full day workshops at Seed Stitch Fine Yarn. Both workshops draw inspiration from her resent publication, Knitting Little Luxuries.
Workshop I - Have you been thinking about making something lacey? Learn the basics of light and airy lace making with a luxurious angora blend chosen right from Louisa's very own yarn collection.
